Ever wanted to be a better person? Maybe you wanted to be better in school, better at work, better at sports, better with people, better at relationships? Do you sometimes see or meet people and say to yourself - I wish I could be more like her in that way? Do you sometimes find yourself envying someone else's ability to do something? What's stopping you from becoming the person you wish you could be? In a word; ourselves. We don't do this consciously. You don't often hear people saying things like - "I could be better at this, or at that, but I don't really want to be". So if we’re not doing it consciously, what is stopping us? Our subconscious mind. Our subconscious is the core of us. It is what we truly, deep down believe. It is our default reactions. It is how we interconnect with the universe, with everyone else out there. It is the part of you responsible for dreams, for premonitions, for awareness. The subconscious mind is an infinitely complex and wonderful thing. It’s responsible for intuition, for dreams, for inspiration, for creativity. However, often it can be responsible for limiting us as well, even hurting us and those around us. Most people didn’t get to choose what is in their subconscious. Think of the subconscious mind as whiteboard. On it is written lines and lines of default behaviours - like computer code. It has things written on it like 'in this situation, i should react this way, or feel this way', or 'when X happens, i should say or do Y'. These lines of programming are our default reactions. They're the way we deal with most of the stimulus in our lives. They are what cause us to get annoyed when someone cuts us off in traffic. They’re what causes us to get annoyed with our parents/kids/siblings when they exhibit a behaviour we don’t like. They’re what cause us to react rashly at times. We can consciously override our default behaviours by stopping to think about them, and changing our reactions. Depending on how strong the programming is, this can be relatively easy to do, or extremely difficult (for example, if someone steps in your path and aggressively pushes you, your default reaction will likely be to get angry. You *could* decide to change that reaction with your conscious mind just by realising you are getting angry and smiling at him – but most people don't do this - they feel like they can't do that, or wouldn't want to do that. ) Every time we come across a situation that triggers a negative emotion we would have to catch our reactions and stop them – quickly. Then think about the situation and then respond consciously. This isn’t really the way most people interact. To be constantly examining your emotions and trying to replace negative ones with positive ones consciously would lead to you living a kind of stilted existence. You’d behave somewhat like a robot. You’d lose some of your humanity. It takes a very strong-minded and determined person to be constantly monitoring and interrupting their own thoughts. Yet, many of the things we have programmed on our ‘whiteboard’ are not things we consciously chose to have there. They may have been put there through learning a behaviour – maybe as a child you picked up your mother or father’s way to deal with a specific problem. Maybe it wasn’t the way you’d ideally like to deal with things. Maybe a traumatic experience etched some very strong code into your SM – and this experience continues to affect you for potentially years afterwards. This is why the cycle of abuse generally continues in abusive families. Children who were abused often turn into abusers themselves. Maybe you were exposed to ridicule or bullying and you learnt to hide your inner-most feelings or become defensive. The point is – you did not consciously choose much of the programming of your SM that drives much of your day to day behaviour. You are, in effect, not your own person. Wouldn’t it be great to be in control of that programming in our SM? So that we knew what was there and we could make sure that it was only great beliefs – beliefs and programming that will help us succeed in all the areas we wish to succeed in? You can. In fact, there are even two ways to go about it.
The Brute Force MethodThis method can be very effective. It’s hard and grueling. A lot of work has to go into it. Basically using this method is like attacking the bad beliefs in your subconscious mind with a sledgehammer. The general idea is to attack your issues, fears, insecurities, bad programming head on at maximum speed. If you are painfully shy, you could start by asking 20 random new people the time each day until doing so was completely comfortable to you. Then approaching 20 new people a day and have a 2 minute small-talk conversation with them until that was completely normal and comfortable, then a 5 minute conversation…. Progressing on to maybe doing 2-3 speeches in front of an audience every week. Or walking up to strangers and singing to them loudly – facing the intense social pressure that comes from acting outside of social norms. A person who could go up to a stranger and start singing to them, or who could make funny noises on a train or bus for example and withstand the intense social pressure that comes with breaking social norms will most certainly no longer be shy! Or take the man who is scared of meeting new women. He can go to a bar or club every night – first with the goal of going up and saying hi to at least 10-20 women. Then to engage them in conversation for a couple minutes. Then 5. Then get their phone number. All of these steps are done until they feel completely natural and comfortable, and the man no longer has that fear stopping him from doing and getting what he wants. It means learning to accept the rejection he will at times face by being able to understand that that rejection had nothing to do with him, but merely reflects his approach, his fear, his lack of confidence. The Brute Force Method can be very effective. Through repetition, new programming is etched onto your subconscious mind. Once you have approached hundreds of women and you’ve realized it’s no big deal, old programming fades away, replaced with great new programming, so that the next time this man sees a beautiful women somewhere, his default reaction will be to approach her and talk to her, rather than flounder in fear, insecurity and excuses. Whilst effective, this method involves a lot of work, a lot of willpower and a lot of commitment. Often people will give up partway due to slower than expected progress, difficulty in pushing through, or even embarrassment. Those who have used this method and pushed through know how effective it can be, but also know how much effort it required, and how much pain they went through to break through to the other side. There is an easier way.
The Reprogramming the Subconscious Mind MethodGo straight to the source. The Brute Force method works by reprogramming the SM through repetition. One of the amazing things about the subconscious mind is that it can’t tell the difference between an actual event and a vividly imagined one. This is why great athletes and performers will often picture themselves in their mind, performing at peak levels. In the case of athletes, they may picture their bodies in perfect form during their event, running faster, jumping higher, pedaling harder, throwing further, whatever their event may be. They’ll picture their muscles in harmony, working together to power their body through their event. They’ll picture coming in first. Visualisation is an extremely powerful technique because it allows you to get past the conscious mind filters – the filters of insecurity and limitation. The filters that tell us we can’t, we won’t, it’s not possible. The filters of doubt. It is effective because it goes straight to our subconscious mind. The process of repetition – repeatedly visualizing your outcome – is one of the ways the subconscious mind gets programmed. Because it can’t tell the difference between a real event and a vividly imagined one, repeated visualizations can have a large impact on the subconscious mind and what it believes to be true. You can change the programming in your subconscious mind through visualization, as described above, as long as you allow yourself to believe it. If you are visualizing, but part of your brain is saying things like ‘I could never do such a thing’, or ‘I wish’, or ‘dream on’ then you are simply reinforcing your already existing subconscious beliefs, and you should stop. You need to clear your mind of these self-imposed limiting, harmful beliefs and allow yourself the beauty of believing these visualizations. You will benefit immensely. Visualisation has its drawbacks. You need to consciously set aside time each day to do them. You must do them even when feeling down, without the conscious mind sabotaging your attempts. For some people, picturing things vividly in their mind is difficult. Most people never develop the habit of visualizations for long enough to get any benefit from them. There is an easier way. Simply by listening to the rewire audios on this website as you fall asleep each night, you can reprogram your subconscious mind with positive and liberating new beliefs and patterns. From helping you gain more confidence, better performance on tests, better athletic performance, to helping you quit smoking, lose weight, become a better public speaker, be more attractive to the opposite sex – the right selection of audio combined with daily use of the audios for at least a month will have a tremendously positive impact on your chosen area. (Note: this article is referring to Rewire audios) The concept behind these audios is simple. Using sound technology that’s been around for decades, the audios will slow down your mind, bringing you into a sleepy, suggestible state – helping you to fall asleep. Once you’ve been brought into a suggestible state, the audios will proceed with 20 – 60 minutes of extremely positive, calm, relaxing, growth-inducing suggestions and affirmations that get absorbed by your subconscious mind. Like with visualizations, repetition here is key – listen to the same audio every night for a month. You will likely start noticing differences after as little as a week, but it’s important to keep repeating them, for at least 30 days so your subconscious mind picks up on all the audio is offering. You can fall asleep while listening – your subconscious mind will still learn from them, and slowly change the limiting or damaging programming that you want to fix to the positive, life-enhancing beliefs in the audios. Much of our subconscious programming comes from our external environment. Maybe we had parents, or siblings, or schoolmates who would criticize us. Maybe they said you were fat, or ugly, or dumb, or not athletic, or anything negative. We hear things like that enough, and part of us, or in worst cases, all of us, starts to believe it. The world can throw a lot of negativity towards us. Even as adults we may hear about our faults, or so feel the need to escape from our reality that we may get addicted to substances, or food. Whatever it is, you came to this website for a reason. Because there was an aspect of who you have become or an aspect of your personality that you wanted to change. These audios form the bedrock of that change. You can listen to them easily at night – they do not get in the way of a busy schedule. If you do have some time on your hands and want even faster progress - you can add listening to our daytime (non-sleepy) versions. These audios are extremely powerful. They will change your outlook on the area you choose. Once your limiting beliefs are blasted away, and new, empowering, positive beliefs are put into place – you will be shocked at how easy it is to do the things you always struggled with before – whether it be situational confidence, public speaking, athletic or academic performance, no longer craving cigarettes or alcohol, becoming more confident in your job, more caring, expressive and fair at home, with friends or colleagues – literally any aspect of your personal or professional life that you aren’t completely satisfied with can be modified for the better using audios that specifically target the area you wish to improve.
